Words have energy

Your words are forms of energy

It’s true. The words you say out loud and the words you say to yourself in your mind, all hold some form of energy. 

Have you ever stopped to think that it’s not just regular exercise and a healthy diet that helps to develop a healthy human being?

Have you ever stopped to think that you have a tendency to believe everything that comes into your brain?

Have you ever stopped to think that you could start to actively take more control of what you think by swiping left to some thoughts?

Actively taking control and becoming acutely aware of what you think, then say, swiping left and right as to what thoughts you wanted to keep, is a skill that can lead to a higher and greater sense of well being.  

Your subconscious brain is just like a hard drive. It stores everything that comes into your conscious brain. So, if you start to take control of what comes into your conscious brain, you create a deeper level of emotional intelligence and your ability to handle negative situations will surely increase. 

Just like you activate and feed your body whole foods and healthy fruits and vegetables to help you feel fit and healthy on the outside, feed your mind the same way. Feed it wholesome thoughts, ones that when planted as seeds, grow into healthy ways of being and thinking, which then become healthy ways of doing and acting.

 Just like running a marathon takes practice and training, re training the way you think takes the same dedication. 

 

Instead of:

– I’m never going to be able to do this

– I’m so angry at you

 

– ____ doesn’t like me

 

– I’m so dumb

Try:

– I’m learning and getting better at this every day

– I feel angry right now because of ___ but I know it will pass

– I can handle criticism without taking it personally and I know that my worth is not dependent on the opinions of others

– I am making mistakes, but thats normal and part of being human. I am learning from them and continuing to grow and develop
